OUR HUMBLE INITIATIVE
SCHOOL UNIFORM & STATIONERY DISTRIBUTION TO VARIOUS TRIBAL SCHOOL AT TAL. AMBEGAON, DIST. PUNE ON 15TH OCTOBER, 2023
Our NGO has “adopted” 20 students from the slums in one of the suburbs namely Ghatkopar (W), who had lost their fathers, the only earning member of the family and who were at the verge of leaving their studies. Sat-Karam Foundation has taken upon itself not only the responsibility of payment of their School Fees, Tuition Fees etc. but it also conducts Extra-curricular Activities for these 20 students every Sunday by holding Yoga Classes, Computer Classes and recently started ‘English Speaking Classes’ with the help of another NGO – ‘English Vinglish’, under the aegis of a group of benevolent teachers from Mumbai, Mrs. Sushma Shetty, Ms. Vanshika Shetty, Mrs.Akhila Krishnan, Mrs. Theresa Banerjee, Mrs. Tasneem Rajgara and Mr. Lokesh Chaudhari.
