In the last two years, Sat-Karam Foundation has visited as many as 30-35 villages in Maharashtra which are predominantly inhabited by poor Adivasi population and has shared School Uniforms, Sports Uniforms, Books, Notebooks and other stationery material with more than 1000 students. In addition to promoting education amongst the lowest strata of the society, Sat-Karam Foundation has provided monetary help to a school/Centre for special children – deaf and mute and some mentally challenged ones at village koproli, Dist. Raigad. Also shared Wheelchairs with ‘Specially Abled Children’ and the elderly, shared Sewing Machines with poor women to enable them to earn their livelihood. Similarly, Sat-Karam Foundation has shared Grain Grinding Machine/Home Flour Mill with poor men and women to provide them means of livelihood for them. Equally, Sat-Karam Foundation reached out to 3 Villages- Kautewadi, Bhalyachiwadi & Paratwadi, 30 kms. interiors of Shahpur, at the peak period of scarcity/lack of water in the scorching summer of April and May 2022 and ensured supply of water through water-tankers every day until the onset of monsoon in Mid-June 2022. Additionally, we have shared grains, wheat, pulses, Rice and other grocery items with the poor Adivasi villages & also with the poor inmates of an orphanage.

Sat-Karam Foundation has also ventured into helping patients with the medical treatment by conducting free Cataract Surgeries which is an on-going program, helping poor patients by contributing towards treatment cost of Cancer patients and other patients with other ailments.

Sat-Karam has helped small schools in slums and Adivasi villages to expand by adding additional classrooms and providing fans, tube-lights and other paraphernalia for setting up classrooms. Sat-Karam has shared raw-material for the purpose of making various incense sticks (Agarbattis) etc. with visually impaired people by associating with another NGO/Organisation namely – “The National Federation of Visually Impaired Persons” at Village-Vangani, Taluka-Ambernath, Dist.- Thane. Sat-Karam has associated itself with Food distribution amongst poor children and pavement dwellers by participating in the food program “The Khilao Initiative” started by “The Health for You Foundation”. Sat-Karam has shared Raincoats and Umbrellas with poor students in 7 Adivasi Schools of Villages- Pimplachiwadi (Taluka- Ambegaon), Valmik Wadi, Sayarkhala, Gadekarwadi at Post- Gohekurd, Village- Pokhri, Taluka- Ambegaon, Pune, during the monsoon of 2022.

Sat-Karam has registered itself under the provisions of Income Tax Act whereunder the donations/contributions to our NGO are exempt under the provisions of 80G of the Income Tax Act. We are also CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) registered.

All this has been possible with the backing of the donations/contributions by donors, besides the personal contribution of the Directors. The donors are primarily from the personal contacts- friends and family friends of the Directors.
